Safe School Ambassador Appointed

Adriano Bygrave of 13A was badged as a Safe School Ambassador for the St. Catherine Southern Police Division during an appointment ceremony held last Wednesday at the St. Catherine Southern Police Headquarters.
Under the auspices of the Community and Safety Branch in the division, the unit charged with the responsiblity for the Safe School programme, Mr. Byfield will work in conjunction with key stakeholders including other ambassadors to promote peace, safety and security in schools. He will be expected to participate in initiatives connected with the safe-school programme as developed and implemented by the Community and Safety Branch.
Mr. Bygrave's appointment was recommended by the school administration as he embodies the core values of the school. He also possesses the skills and requisite knowledge and expertise to represent our school and the division in national fora connected with safety and security in schools. Other students from Jose Marti, Old Harbour, Waterford and Cumberland High Schools were similarly appointed as ambassadors.
