Ascot High School Past Students Association

A Brief History

The Ascot High School Past Students Association (A-HPSA) was established to strengthen the ties between former students and their alma mater, and to channel alumni energy, expertise, and resources into supporting the school’s development.

Since the founding of Ascot High School on 1 September 1997, when the school opened with first-form students and a faculty of 40 teachers, the institution has grown steadily in academic reputation, student population, and physical infrastructure. Wikipedia The Past Students Association emerged as a natural extension of that growth — a mechanism by which past students (Ascotians) could remain invested in the life and future of their school.

The aims of the Association include:

On social media, the A-HPSA is visible as a “Past Students” group with a stated mission “to foster involvement of past students in the continued development of the school.” Facebook This suggests that alumni are encouraged to stay involved in building the school’s future, not merely reminiscing about the past.

Although public records do not show the precise date of formal incorporation, the Association is active in promoting alumni participation and facilitating connections between past and current students. The leadership typically consists of an executive group or committee drawn from alumni, working together with school administration to align alumni efforts with institutional priorities.

Over time, the Association has the potential (or is already) expanding chapters or representation across regions (especially for alumni living abroad), creating platforms for giving back, and building a legacy of sustained support for Ascot High School.
